Honestly, this place is a straight-up hidden gem. Donair & Sub House doesn’t look flashy from the outside, but the food absolutely delivers. The donair is loaded, fresh, and full of flavour. Meat is juicy, pita is soft, and the sauces are on point. Portions are generous, especially for the price, and you leave feeling full every time. Service is quick and friendly, even when they’re busy, and everything tastes freshly made. Perfect late-night stop or quick takeout when you’re craving something satisfying. If you’re in Burnaby and like donairs, this spot is a must. Easily one of the better donair places around. I’ll definitely be back.

Brother makes the best donair! I have been visiting the store for so many times in the past few months after I discovered this restaurant. The meat and veggies are always fresh, the portion is generous. Would recommend to anyone at least give it a try!

Summary: My family and I always eat here after visiting my doctor next door. We decided to try this place one day and it's now my favourite donair place. Service: Owner is friendly and chill, always double checking our orders and letting us eat first when we eat here. He is not overly chatty and won't disturb you eat, great for introverts like me. Food: The meat is always juicy, veggies fresh and bread warm. The small-sized donair is big, more than enough for adult women in my family. I find the ratio of meat, veggies and sauce pleasantly balanced, unlike other donair places I've tried where they would have sauce or veggies overpowering the meat. The two cheesecakes were served frozen, they're very sweet so one order would be enough for 2-3 people to share. I want to try their baklava, but they're not always available. Bonus: This business is available on Uber Eats and offers BOGO for platters and various decent discounts for other items on their menu. Would I recommend this place? Yes. Would I visit again? Yes Con: The door is always opened, even in the winter, so it can get quite chilly when eating with the door open. You can close the door.

Me and my wonderful husband loves this place. We hit it up twice a week at least. The chicken taste is delicious and the flavour and freshness could be because they use a local supplier for meats as there are some great butchers on Edmond st. If you tried you are missing out.

I will be doing the public a disservice if I do not say a thing or two. This place is non corporate, has a personal touch and has a great owner operator that serves the public nutritious, fresh not to mention delicious food. A hidden treasure and whenever I am in the neighborhood I do not hesitate. I don't use door dashes but on days I don't feel like driving 25 mins, I do it. Thank you for the great food and vibe.

Such a hidden gem. The food here is amazing. Fresh, flavourful donairs with generous portions and great prices. Everything tastes made with care. On top of that, the owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. One of those places you’re happy to support and keep coming back to. Highly recommend.
